Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced expeditor to manage complex expediting, contact suppliers, interpret schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment for our projects in Houston, TX. This part-time telework role requires at least three days of in-person attendance weekly.

You will coordinate with planning, logistics, and project teams to maintain schedules, monitor supplier performance, and accelerate data submissions as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 2-5 years relevant experience or 6-9 years.
• Experience in expediting purchase orders and supplier management.
• Strong written and verbal communication across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Contact suppliers for engineering data and progress.
• Interpret production schedules to ensure on-time activities.
• Coordinate with planning, field material coordinators, and expeditors.
• Expedite engineering reviews and data submissions.
• Coordinate shipping arrangements with Logistics.
