Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced Expediting Specialist to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment on a major EPC project in the United States. The role requires coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and field personnel to meet critical milestones and maintain cost controls.

Responsibilities include expediting activities across procurement, engineering, and construction, maintaining supplier performance, and delivering regular reports to project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 10+ years exp in expediting major equipment.
• Experience on large EPC projects in energy or petrochemical sectors.
• Knowledge of logistics, scheduling, and supplier quality processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with LNG and/or petrochemical plant environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Expedite material and equipment deliveries to meet project milestones.
• Coordinate expediting with project management, procurement, engineering, construction, startup, and planning.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor order progress.
• Prepare reports and deliverables for the expediting group.
• Update DSCS and supplier information systems as required.
