Job summary

The Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization as CEO, advancing mission, priorities, and member value in a part-time role.

This remote position requires travel for the Annual Conference and approved events; 15-20 hours weekly with potential increases during conferences. Compensation is to be determined.

You will collaborate with Board, Steering Committee, and AMC to grow partnerships, revenue, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience building strategic partnerships and external relationships.
• Experience in nonprofit association, higher education, or similar organization.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: collaborate with the Board and volunteers to implement priorities and assess performance.
• Marketing, Communications, and Organizational Visibility: develop strategies to raise awareness and expand reach.
• External Relations, Partnerships, and Advancement: cultivate relationships that support growth and sustainability.
• Financial Stewardship and Organizational Sustainability: support budgeting and resource planning with the AMG/Treasurer.
• Programs, Conferences, and Educational Initiatives: collaborate to deliver conferences and professional development.
• Board Engagement: advise the Board and coordinate governance activities.
• Membership and Community Engagement: recruit, engage, and retain members while fostering inclusion.
