Sugar Roots Farm is seeking a compassionate, organized Part-Time Executive Director to lead our move to The Batture. This hands-on role spans animal care, staff and volunteer coordination, administration, community engagement, and program development, with animal health as the top priority.

The role can be partly remote with on-site presence as needed, and requires building systems, managing budgets, coordinating open days, and developing educational programs and fundraising campaigns in

• Passion for animal care and welfare.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Experience coordinating staff and volunteers; ability to lead programs.

Responsabilités

• Oversee animal care health, safety, and welfare.
• Coordinate staff and volunteers; schedule and train teams.
• Plan and manage open days and visitor experience at The Batture.
• Manage operating budget, finances, and records with Board oversight.
• Maintain Sugar Roots Farm’s social media and community communications.
• Develop and coordinate educational programming and fundraising events.
• Collaborate with the Board to establish systems and procedures at the new location.
