Job summary

Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking a part-time Rental Attendant to provide on-site assistance for Special Event and Amphitheater bookings. You will secure facilities, stay on-site during events as the primary renter contact, enforce rules, greet visitors, and perform basic custodial duties.

Responsibilities include setup of spaces, restocking, and completing checklists to determine deposits. Opportunity to support safe, high-quality community events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in event planning or special events preferred.
• Ability to work with the public and deliver high-quality events.

Responsibilities

• Secure District facilities during opening/closing and ensure safety.
• Remain on-site during rentals as primary renter contact.
• Enforce rules and proper facility usage.
• Greet visitors and provide information.
• Perform custodial duties for spaces and restrooms.
• Set up rental spaces (tables/chairs) per floor plan.
• Restock supplies including bathrooms and first aid kits.
• Maintain trash disposal and end-of-rental cleanliness.
• Complete facility checklists to determine deposit refunds.
• Notify Supervisor of issues impacting rentals.
