Job summary

The Garden is seeking a Venue Event Staffer for on-site support during private events. You will be the venue representative, handling setup, guest assistance, and ensuring services align with rental contracts.

Shifts are flexible, mainly Fridays through Sundays, with some weeknights and Open House events on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You will report to the Event Coordinator and help maintain a welcoming, efficient venue environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the venue building.
• Set up tables and chairs as required.
• Assist clients with venue needs (A/V setup, signage, etc.).
• Manage guests and respond to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness during events and remove trash.
• Stock restrooms with supplies; general venue maintenance.
• Perform occasional clerical duties (calendar updates, inquiries).
