BEST Crowd Management is hiring for Guest Services staff to support University of Wisconsin–Madison events. Welcome attendees, answer questions, and assist with crowd flow and safety. Prior customer service or hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or event roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with a welcoming, helpful approach.
• Assist with event setup and venue signage as needed.
• Monitor areas for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and facilities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety and a positive experience.
• Follow company policies and maintain high standards of service.
