Roxbury Community College (RCC) is seeking part-time Event Staff for the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston. You will support a wide range of events, from meetings to concerts, ensuring smooth operations with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; evening and weekend availability is needed. Compensation is $20/hour, with scheduling based on event availability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down events - from athletic competitions to arranging tables and chairs per floor plans.
• Clean up and break down materials and equipment after events.
• Monitor access to events assigned.
• Support building operations including check-in desk coverage, weight room coverage, and membership services.
• Report any logistical issues to the onsite events supervisor.
• Follow all policies and procedures set by RCC and the RLTAC.
• Take on other duties as assigned by supervisor.
