Job summary

Roxbury Community College is seeking an Athletics Operations Student Assistant to provide entry‑level administrative and operational support to the Athletics Department at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center. You will help with schedules, facilities, equipment, events, records, communications, and logistics under supervision.

The role offers Learn & Earn placement with up to 18.5 hours per week, starting September 21, 2026.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled RCC student in good academic standing and eligible for the approved funding source (Federal Work-Study or Learn & Earn).
• No prior athletics employment experience required.
• Willingness to learn athletics operations and event procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of games, tournaments, practices, competitions, and athletics events.
• Support event-day operations: setup, registration, scheduling, communications, breakdown.
• Assist with equipment inventory, distribution, maintenance, organization, and tracking.
• Help coordinate uniforms, supplies, credentials, and other event materials.
