Job summary

Roxbury Community College in Boston is seeking an Athletics Team Manager (student employment) to support coaching staff with game-day logistics, equipment, statistics entry, and recruiting outreach at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.

This Level II position offers up to 18.5 hours per week, with duties including uniform management, video review, and campus tours for prospective players, under supervisor Aaron Auslander.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled RCC student and Learn & Earn eligible.
• Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
• Knowledge of the sport of soccer.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
• Flexible availability based on team and academic schedules.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, student-athletes, prospective students, and Athletics staff.
• Reliable, organized, professional, and able to handle team and recruiting information.

Responsibilities

• Assist coaching staff with game-day setup and breakdown.
• Wash, organize, prepare, and distribute team uniforms.
• Keep and enter game-day statistics into Presto or other athletics systems.
• Review video of prospective recruits as directed by coaching staff.
• Create and maintain a database of prospective players for future recruiting cycles.
• Make outreach calls to prospective players under coaching staff direction.
• Review and break down game-day film for team use.
• Meet with prospective recruits and assist with campus tours.
• Support other team operations and administrative activities.
