Compass Group USA is seeking a Catering Supervisor for the State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants in Atlanta. This part-time, event-based role requires mornings, evenings, and weekend availability, including Hawks home games, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in catering/hospitality supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to interact with high-profile guests while ensuring top-quality service and food safety at all events.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in catering, hospitality, or food service supervisor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Conflict resolutions and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to learn event paperwork, inventory reports, and menus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct and respond to guest questions and needs during events.
• Meet with directors before events to review details.
• Supervise staff during check-ins and breakdowns.
• Maintain proper display and handling of food/beverage throughout events.
• Establish rapport with guests and upsell where appropriate.
• Ensure timely event setup, service, and breakdown within timelines.
• Complete post-event inventory and restock as needed.
• Create, modify, and close sales checks in the POS system.
