Compass Group USA is seeking a Catering Supervisor for the State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants in Atlanta. This part-time, event-based role requires mornings, evenings, and weekend availability, including Hawks home games, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in catering/hospitality supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to interact with high-profile guests while ensuring top-quality service and food safety at all events.

Pay Rate:$19.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position.

Schedule:Part time event-based schedule. Open availability preferred. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.

Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience working in a similar setting. The candidate should have an outgoing personalitiy and the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. They have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.

Job Summary

Summary: The Catering Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Catering Supervisor initially reviews details with the Director. The Supervisor meets the staff at the beginning of a shift and checks each staff memeber in for the event. The Supervisor should understand the content of the meny and ensure timely delivery of food. Strict following of food safety and guidleines are required. The server is responisble for executing area set up and breakdown. The Supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meets with the directors before the event to go over details.
• Supervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns.
• Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
• Determine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
• Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
• Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
• Create, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Maintains service areas.
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
