Job summary

FedEx Logistics in San Francisco, CA seeks an equipment operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment for packages, documents and heavyweight freight, including dangerous goods. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

The role requires the ability to handle heavy packages, work in various weather conditions, and complete training. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from the ground to chest level.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment for packages and heavy freight.
• Assist with pallet buildup and breakdown for heavyweight freight.
• Liaise with ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
