Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking personnel for part-time evening shifts in Nashville to ensure safe and efficient handling of packages and pallets. The role involves operating equipment, assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown, and coordinating with ULD repair vendors as needed.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a noisy environment, and communicate effectively. A valid driver's license and readiness for training are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages >50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and squat for entire shift.
• Able to operate in a noisy environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight and dangerous goods.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
