Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking personnel to safely operate equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight and dangerous goods. You will assist with pallet buildup and breakdown, and liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for long shifts, and work in various weather and confined spaces. Training and safety awareness are essential to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
