Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a material handler to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown and coordinating with ULD repair vendors as needed.

The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand for long hours, and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license is required, and part-time shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages/docs/heavyweight
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
