Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a General Cleaner to perform custodial duties across the facility. The role requires cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms, and public areas to industry standards within approximately 4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour, with a schedule covering evenings and weekends.

The position is part-time at 28 hours per week with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Candidates must follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain clean, safe work environments across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks professionally to reflect high integrity of the company.
• Clean administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairways to sanitary standards.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and stock supplies such as toilet paper, towels, and soap.
• Dusts and cleans furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and related furnishings; moves items only when directed.
• Empty and separate recyclables and trash; ensure proper disposal.
• Sanitize telephones and vacuum carpets; maintain clean surfaces and equipment.
• Wipe switches, doors, walls, tables, and chairs; polish stainless surfaces.
• Lock/unlock doors; ensure lights are off in unoccupied rooms; wear PPE as required.
• Report safety hazards; follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays; keep custodial closets secured and equipment replenished.
