Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas Teacher certificate as required by the State Board of Education Certification.
  • One year teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches in accordance with staff assignment and PEIMS coding (Emergent Bilingual and ESL students).
  • Displays effective teaching practices and develops well-structured lessons.
  • Organizes classroom management and uses appropriate instructional materials.
  • Maintains accurate records for student evaluation, progress, and attendance.
  • Collaborates with counselors, administrators, parents and staff to place Emergent Bilingual or ESL students effectively.
  • Promotes safety, professional communication, and positive student relationships.
