Job summary

xLight Inc. is seeking an ERP Implementation Lead to drive the implementation and rollout of a modern ERP system, integrating finance, procurement, and operations.

This is a part-time consulting engagement (~5 hours/week) with potential to transition to full-time as the system scales.

You will own end-to-end project plans, coordinate with IT, define integrations, manage data migration, and establish reporting structures to support growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience in hardware, semiconductor, or capital equipment environments.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Odoo and NetSuite, including self-hosted deployments.
• Strong project management delivery: schedule ownership, vendor/contractor management, scope and budget control.
• Working proficiency in Python and scripting; able to discuss code with developers for integrations.
• Experience defining system integrations with engineering/operational tools and REST APIs.
• Excellent cross-functional communication in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the ERP implementation program end-to-end: project plan, milestones, RAID log, and status reporting.
• Work with IT to manage the self-hosted deployment, hosting, IT ops, backups, and related tasks.
• Configure ERP workflows for finance, procurement, inventory, costs, and cash flow visibility.
• Define integration strategies with tools like Teamcenter/JAMA/Primavera P6 and other platforms.
• Manage data migration, UAT, training, and cutover planning against a 4–6 month go-live target.
• Track program budget and total cost of ownership against plan.
• Develop reporting structures, dashboards, and operational insights for production ramps.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and other stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
