Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or related to reading, language arts, and study skills.
• Master's degree in English or related field with 18 graduate semester hours is preferred.
• Full-time or part-time teaching and/or tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in English and study skills to curriculum and continuing education students.
• Create and revise publications and communications projects benefiting the college.
• Maintain time cards, registrations, and administrative records for auditing.
• Offer virtual tutoring during emergencies or college closures.
• Support the college's instructional and learning mission through tutoring efforts.
• Stay current in tutoring and adult education through workshops and self-study as required.
