Crane Company's Reuter-Stokes facility in Twinsburg, OH is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the manufacturing team. You will support daily operations and lead independent projects to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity through process improvements, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of cross-functional collaboration with Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering, you will perform root-cause analysis, collect data, and help reduce scrap while

Formación

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and exposure to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations pertinent to product development and testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with SolidWorks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Develop product and process knowledge to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in creating and revising manufacturing travelers, routers, and work instructions to improve process accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the evaluation and disposition of non-conforming materials, products, and equipment in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.
• Collaborating with Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities to resolve product and process failures.
• Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Contribute to scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects through process optimization and data-driven problem solving.
