Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks adjunct faculty to teach part-time, in-person at our Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 Semester. Courses focus on manufacturing trades-related topics and essential communication, teamwork, and problem solving to prepare students for futures in IT and engineering.

Faculty will lecture, mentor, and assess student progress in a supportive, faith-integrated environment. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in higher education or training settings.
• Ability to engage students and facilitate discussions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person lectures and discussions on course topics.
• Engage students in learning objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.
