Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Introduction to Engineering Design and Prototyping & Lab in-person at the traditional campus for the Spring 2027 Semester (01/04/2027 - 04/23/2027).

Facilitate classroom lectures, engage students in course objectives, assess performance, and mentor students while upholding the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in an engineering discipline with hands-on industry experience.
• Minimum: Master's in an engineering discipline with hands-on industry experience OR Bachelor's in an engineering discipline with a Master's in a business discipline and hands-on industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
