Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Phoenix campus to teach Electrical Design Principles II & Lab during the Spring 2027 semester. The role involves in-person, face-to-face instruction with engaging lectures and active student mentorship.

The ideal candidate will hold a Masters in Electrical Engineering (Doctorate preferred) or an equivalent advanced engineering degree with industry experience and a demonstrated ability to facilitate learning and assess student

Qualifications

• Doctorate preferred; Masters in Electrical Engineering or related field with industry experience also acceptable.
• Experience in higher-education instruction is desirable.
• Commitment to in-person teaching on the Phoenix campus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions for adjunct course.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor student success in the classroom.
• Model ethical conduct and support the University’s mission.
