Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Embedded Systems at the Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 semester. The role involves in-person instruction, student engagement, and assessment of outcomes in a modern, smaller classroom setting.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with embedded systems experience; preferred are a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Preferred: PhD or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline with embedded systems experience.
• Additionally: 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
