Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Electrical Foundations at our Phoenix campus in the College of Engineering and Technology.

The role emphasizes face-to-face instruction, smaller class sizes, and mentoring students to grow academically, spiritually, and professionally, aligning with GCU's mission. Successful candidates will facilitate lectures, engage discussions, assess performance, and support the Doctrinal Statement and Ethical Position Statement.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 5-7 years of industry experience.
• Preferred: Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 3-5 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
