Job summary

Grand Canyon University’s College of Engineering and Technology is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Concrete Foundations at the Phoenix campus. This part-time, face-to-face role focuses on delivering practical instruction, guiding students through formwork, safety, and concrete finishing, and reinforcing fundamental engineering concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 5-7 years of concrete construction experience.
• Preferred: Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 3-5 years of concrete construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
