Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno’s College of Engineering invites applications for a part‑time Letter of Appointment (LOA) position in the Engineering Career Services Office. This role will assist the Director of Engineering Career Services with student career development and related tasks.

Hours are 24 per week, with occasional early mornings or evenings for events. Compensation ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 pro‑rated at 60%, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and strong communication skills.
• Professional, detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating via phone, email or in-person with students or professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering Career Services with student career development.
• Collect internship and job outcomes data and coordinate a new ECS job board.
• Maintain the ECS employer database and organize logistics for the biannual Career Fair.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
