Job summary

VEG seeks a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our Florida Clearwater team. You will work on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, assisting doctors, supporting pet parents, and delivering gold-standard care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT credential required in the practicing state.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty a plus.
• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Deliver compassionate support to pets and their guardians during emergencies from intake through discharge.
• Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, transplants, and advanced therapies as needed.
• Assist doctors and collaborate with the team to maintain smooth care flow and safety.
