Job summary

VEG in Omaha is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver gold-standard, compassionate care to pets and their families. You’ll engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while building skills and growing with VEG’s mentorship and learning programs.

This role requires CVT in state, 1+ year emergency experience, strong communication, and ability

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state of the VEG practice is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; able to support team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emergency treatments for diverse cases.
• Assist triage, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Communicate with teammates and help shape treatment plans.
