VEG ER for Pets in Asheville, NC is seeking a Part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a front-line emergency team. You will handle a wide range of emergencies, assist doctors, and deliver compassionate care to pets and families under pressure.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of VEG practice.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors to deliver gold standard, patient- and client-centered care.
• Operate in a fast-paced ER environment while supporting teammates.
