Job summary

Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide screening, brief intervention and care coordination for adults in crisis in the EmPATH unit. This full-time role focuses on patient service delivery and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Behavioral Health, BLS/Healthcare Provider certification, and eligibility for LCSW/LPC within 3 months. Prior medical setting experience is preferred; great benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health field required.
• LCSW/LPC preferred; eligible within 3 months of employment.
• BLS Certification – American Heart Association Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience in medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health and substance use screening and brief intervention.
• Conduct intake assessments and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate ongoing care with multidisciplinary team.
• Document timely in accordance with state regulations.
