Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Emergency Dispatch in Framingham, MA. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts, increasing earnings through our scheduling platform.

A fixed anchor shift is complemented by a flexible pick‑up shift program. The position supports customer service for employees and visitors, monitors dispatch and security systems, and responds calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and dispatch policies at a retail location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, maintenance concerns, and other incidents to appropriate on‑site personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, access activity, and/or camera feeds as assigned, documenting relevant information in dispatch logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating communications with on‑site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Emergency Dispatch in Framingham, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
