Job summary

FIGS is seeking a Part-Time Suture Specialist (Embroidery Machine Operator) to manage the embroidery operations at our Scottsdale Community Hub. You will set up machines, complete orders, and ensure finished garments meet specifications.

Work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain and repair embroidery equipment. The role requires weekend availability, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with the retail team.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends.
• Ability to handle a physical and detail-oriented workload.
• Bilingual skills are beneficial but not required.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting embroidery machines (Barudan knowledge a plus).
• Experience with single-head embroidery machines.
• Ability to work independently and manage work orders.
• Proficiency in software for editing designs.
• Available to work Black Friday through the holiday season when defined.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and complete embroidery orders accurately.
• Set up embroidery machines for each job, including design loading, thread selection, hooping, trimming, and packaging.
• Track and communicate order status with the retail team.
• Inspect merchandise against order specifications, perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Steam and prepare garments for customers.
• Perform minor machine repairs, cleaning, and oiling for optimal operation.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Manage supplies, storage, and assist with inventory checks.
• Assist store manager and staff with non-embroidery tasks as needed.
