Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time School Psychologist to support elementary students in Cumberland, RI. The role centers on delivering psychological services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in a school setting, ideally with elementary-age children.
• Knowledge of assessment methods, intervention strategies, and IEP development.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to support multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with writing detailed reports, progress updates, and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct psychological services to students, supporting their emotional and academic well-being.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations to inform individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Write and update IEPs and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
• Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating to achieve student goals.
• Engage with teachers and families, offering guidance and support tailored to each child's needs.
