Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Rhode Island state certification as a School Psychologist.
• BCBA certification preferred or willingness to become certified as a BCBA.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Johnston Public Schools policies and directives.
• Supports Evaluation Team, IEP Team, 504, RtI and MTSS meetings as required.
• Assists in designing and implementing IEPs to meet students' needs.
• Conducts initial psychological evaluations and prepares interpreti ve reports for parents and professionals.
• Provides direct student services including counseling and behavioral support.
