Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain before start date.
• Solid foundation in educational psychology and behavioral interventions.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.
• Excellent communication for teamwork and consultation.
• Ability to report to Team Chair(s) and Building Principal(s).

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological and educational evaluations for special education eligibility and IEP formulation.
• Participate in IEP and 504 teams, assisting in plan development and meetings.
• Deliver IEP-based counseling services as assigned.
• Provide consultation for staff, parents, and students.
• Participate in pre-referral teams and professional development activities.
• Engage in district Medicaid billing process.
• Respond to crises with intervention support for students and staff.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
