Job summary

Georgetown Public Schools is seeking a Part Time Academic Interventionist for Penn Brook Elementary School in Georgetown, MA. The role centers on delivering daily small-group mathematics instruction to K–5 students within our MTSS framework.

The successful candidate will collaborate with classroom teachers, the curriculum coordinator, and the building principal to tailor supports. The position requires teaching experience, a minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and DESE licensure

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master's Degree preferred.
• DESE license, preferred.
• Experiences working with children.
• Demonstrated ability to establish positive & supportive relationships with students.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student(s), family, and school information.
• Demonstrated ability to provide academic instruction to students with educational disabilities and/or learning deficits.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily small group targeted instruction based on classroom and assessment data within our MTSS model.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, curriculum coordinator, and building principal.
