Job summary

Triton Regional School District’s Salisbury Elementary in Salisbury, MA seeks a part-time Title I Academic Interventionist to support K-6 students in Math and ELA. The role collaborates with teachers to deliver targeted interventions within the general education setting.

Ideal candidates are organized, experienced, and passionate about bridging learning gaps. The position involves 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with ongoing progress monitoring and MTSS participation.

Qualifications

• MA DESE teaching license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of child developmental stages; experience with Fundations, Heggerty, DIBELS, Acadience Math Screener, Bridges Math Intervention preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted, small group Reading & Math interventions.
• Partner with classroom teachers to scaffold core instruction and co-teach where appropriate.
• Administer screening tools, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring to track student growth.
• Analyze student data with teachers and Title I staff to adjust instruction and determine intervention fluidity.
• Maintain active communication with grade-level teams and specialized staff.
• Participate in MTSS team meetings and data-planning sessions.
• Build positive relationships to support teaching and student growth.
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional development.
