Job summary

Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit 5 is seeking a Part-Time Math Teacher for itinerant service across multiple area schools. The role supports grades 7–12 with targeted interventions and collaboration with staff, to drive student success in mathematics.

The position offers hourly compensation based on degree level (Bachelor's $43.38/hr, Master's $45.96/hr, with additional credits). Requires PDE Math 7-12 certification, PA clearances, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• PDE Certification Mathematics 7-12 is required.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Clearances including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and Federal History are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and implement skill-based interventions for grades 7–12.
• Deliver small group instruction within established curriculum guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries from parents/guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
