Job summary

CorsoCare at StoryPoint Clinton Township is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance to residents in our community.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, dining, mobility and safety, monitor resident wellbeing, document changes, and communicate with Wellness Leaders and families. You must be fluent in English, work well in a team, and uphold our 1440 care standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare Geriatrics or experience with elderly population preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide CNA or Medical Assistant MA Certification preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents.
• Understand and lead our 1440 care standards so you and your team ensure that each resident and each family has their needs met.
• Communicate resident changes immediately.
• Provide timely and detailed information to Wellness Leader regarding changes to a resident's needs or care.
• Responsible communication with families.
• Communicate messages tactfully and timely with residents, families, and ensuring the message has been received and correctly understood.
• Build strong community relationships with Wellness and community peers with families, residents, and Leaders.
• Actively supports our culture, our pillars and 1440.
• Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, and assist others as needed.
• Provide compassionate and competent care: bathing, showering, grooming, dining assistance, mobility and escorts, toileting and light incontinence care, morning and bedtime routines, and log documentation.
