Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech for Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. This entry‑level role supports ultrasound exams under physician direction, with a focus on training and clinical development.

Position is part‑time (30 hours), with 10‑hour shifts on 3/10s and on‑call shifts. Candidates should have ARDMS/CCI and BLS, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Great team environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by educating patient and family on procedure and transporting patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and needed information; apply charge codes.
• Clean and maintain equipment, work area, and stock supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and educational opportunities.
