Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks an Early Literacy Tutor (K-3) for a part-time position in Boston, MA starting Fall 2026. You will provide contracted instructional services focused on reading, mathematics, and writing, partnering with Catapult Learning partner schools to support student progress and family communication.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in early childhood or elementary settings.
• Understanding of child development and learning differences.
• Experience using online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Belief that all children can learn and succeed in literacy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Collaborate with school personnel to coordinate student services.
• Communicate progress with parents and teachers.
• Deliver prescribed instructional models in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Attend trainings and implement strategies for student sessions.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions and manage materials.
• Maintain student forms and files per regulations.
• Attend meetings with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of instructional materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
