Job summary

Ampact’s Early Learning Corps is hiring an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in building early literacy and numeracy skills. You’ll work with a teacher to deliver proven activities, track progress, and coach students toward confidence.

This role emphasizes reliable attendance, ability to follow instructions, and basic computer skills; fluent English is required. The program offers a biweekly AmeriCorps stipend and access to education awards, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; U.S. citizen or eligible status.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
