Job summary

The Arc Ocean County Chapter in Brick Township, NJ, is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help adults with disabilities live more independently. No experience required; paid on-the-job training provided, with evening, overnight and weekend shifts available.

You will support daily living activities, encourage skill development, and accompany individuals to appointments and community events in residential settings. This is a meaningful, part-time role.

Qualifications

• No prior Direct Support Professional experience is required.
• Paid on-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid New Jersey driver;s license in good standing with no more than five points (5)

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential homes and encourage independence.
• Provide daily living assistance, skill development, and support with community participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to the residential team and families.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful living environment for residents.
