Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Brick Township and Toms River, NJ to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings. This role offers on-the-job training and flexible scheduling to fit around your life.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Weekend shifts are required, with opportunities to grow within Residential Services as you gain skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position.
• Availability to work required weekend shifts.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily living activities in residential homes.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
• Complete required documentation daily service notes and reports.
• Safely transport individuals in agency vehicles when assigned.
• Collaborate with residential team to provide dependable, person-centered support.
