Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the 2nd shift at Holt House in Holt, MI. This part-time, on-site role helps individuals build independence and community participation, with duties ranging from daily living support to monitoring safety and attending medical appointments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid Michigan driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 using eyes-on, one-on-one, or short checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish trustful, empathetic relationships with individuals served and teammates.
• Assist with social, leisure, and community participation activities.
• Support activities of daily living and accompany to appointments as needed.
