Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Georgia seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support to join the team. You will engage with donors, screen and record vital signs, and help maintain accurate donor charts and compensation records.

You will work a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with training provided to start strong in a supportive environment. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, this role emphasizes reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
