Job summary

BioLife is seeking a donor screener/phlebotomy support at our Columbus, GA plasma center. You will greet donors, screen them, perform vital signs, and document records to support plasma collection.

Responsibilities include using the donor information system, coordinating donor compensation, and maintaining safety and quality in a high-volume environment. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 32 lb occasionally; 50 lb rarely.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, while ensuring safety of donors and our team.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
