Job summary

BioLife is seeking a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations. You will interact with donors daily, monitor safety, and document vital signs while joining a team focused on meaningful community healthcare.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift light loads, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift; ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 5 lbs, with occasional 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine-motor coordination and distance hearing.
• Experience with bloodborne pathogen precautions (risk level 1).
• One+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and maintain donor safety and satisfaction.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
